Preparation for the Hrigaia Retreat
A Descent into Silence and Regeneration
Introduction
The Hrigaia retreat is not a teaching—it is a transmission, an initiation. To receive it, one must arrive clear.
What follows is not a checklist, but a descent: a symbolic preparation for entering the field of silence, regeneration, and soul awakening. Each step is a gesture toward your inner being.
You are being called—not merely to a place, but to a way of being. Together, we will enter into rhythm with Nature, with one another, and with the deeper currents beneath modern life.
This is not a one-way transmission, but a field of mutual transformation. What you bring—your energy, your insights, your silence—matters.
Before You Step Through the Doorway
This retreat is not for everyone. It calls for readiness—physical, emotional, and energetic. The field we are entering is subtle and deep, and can only be received by those who arrive clear.
The following preparations are essential:
1. Read All Four Articles
Before attending, read the foundational texts—from Towards the Original Nature to Creating the Ecosystem. These writings are not lessons—they are mirrors. They loosen the grip of the psyche and allow deeper recognition to emerge.
2. Begin Dietary Transition
Based on guidance shared in Zoom meetings, begin adjusting your diet to support clarity and hormonal balance:
• Eliminate addictive substances: alcohol, tobacco, coffee, marijuana, recreational drugs, and plant medicines
• Reduce or eliminate dairy, wheat, sugar, and processed foods
• Emphasize hydration, simplicity, and plant-based nourishment
The body must be clean—not mid-detox—so that subtle transmissions can be received without interference.
3. Pineal & Pituitary Calibration
Begin gentle practices to support the pineal and pituitary glands:
• Breathwork: alternate nostril breathing, skull-shining breath
• Sun gazing at sunrise or sunset
• Herbal support: chaga, turmeric, ashwagandha, maca, gotu kola
• Eliminate fluoride
• Silent sitting with upright posture and open eyes
These practices attune the endocrine system and deepen intuitive perception.
4. Posture & Presence Practice
Begin daily sitting with a straight spine, tongue on the roof of the mouth, and eyes open. This posture will be used throughout the retreat. It reflects the original human blueprint—alert, grounded, and receptive.
Closing Note
To walk the Hrigaia path is to begin dissolving the noise of modern life and remembering the original rhythm of being. When you return to your routine, it will not be the same. A new perspective will open.
Preparation is not a formality—it is a descent. If you feel ready, begin now.
The emphasis on preparation exists because the retreat days are few. They are not meant to be spent transitioning or recovering from hangovers. However, if you have time, come for a few months and do your transition with us.
